  • IES Lluis Simarro (SP)

    IES Dr. Lluis Simarro Lacabra covers different Secondary school Education Levels, High School and VET. Regarding to High School, Natural Science and health, as well as Humanities and Social Sciences modalities are offered. The organization has 1070 students and 101 teachers.
    In addition, the school has public VET education in three families:
    Computer Science, Accounting and finances and civil engineering. The two former families include basic, intermediate and high levels. Whereas the latter has a course of middle VET Level.
    The higher level of computer science levels includes two specialities; Multimedia Application Development and Computer Systems, Administration. The middle level speciality is "Microcomputer systems and Networking" and has two groups. Some matters within these levels are taught under through an English immersion plan by English accredited Teachers.

    Our school is a Technical Secondary School located in San Miniato , a town near Florence ,Pisa, Lucca and Siena ,in Tuscany.It has about 900 students aged 14-19 and about 90 teachers.
    Students attend our school for five years and after that they can go to university or look for a job.There are are four courses: "Administration, Finance and Marketing", "International Relations for marketing", “Tourism" and “Chemistry and Materials". They study English, Italian, History, Geography,Computer Science, Maths, Economics, Physical Education, French, German, Computer Science, Art, Chemistry, Legislation and Leather Technology, depending on the course.
    Our school is located in an industrial area famous for its tanneries and factories producing leather goods, so a lot of people from abroad come here to look for a job. We have been participating in Comenius Projects and exchanges with foreign countries for many years.

    The Istituto Comprensivo Cerreto Guidi is located in Cerreto Guidi, a reinassance village in the province of Florence, set on a hill surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The productive activities were based mainly on the primary sector but recently there has been a development of the secondary and tertiary sectors as well as a transformation of the composition of the population due to a migratory flux.
    The Istituto is composed of four Nursery Schools, four Primary Schools and one Secondary School. The students' age is from 3 to 14 years old. There about 1100 students and 300 students out of this number attend the secondary school. 30% of the students are of foreign origins.
    Students of Secondary School study two foreign languages: English and French and are involved in some intercultural projects.

    The Comprehensive Institute Buonarroti consists of Nursery School, Primary School and Lower Secondary school. The Secondary School is attended by pupils aged 10-14. The school is located in an area where the main working activities are related to tan and shoe manufacturing industries. Because of the large number of pupils, the large number of migrants and the increasing number of pupils with learning disorders who require personalized teaching, we need to develop teaching strategies addressed both to talented pupils and to less able ones. Social integration and inclusion for special needs students are priority objectives in the institute educational plan.

     Iznik Anatolian High School began education in 1993. 416 students aged between 14-18 attend the school and 33 teachers do their best to give a high level education. Students get education 4 years and after graduation they go to universities and look for business opportunities.
    İznik Anatolian High School is one of the most successful schools in Bursa and seeks to graduate the students with the skills and determination to function as successful people in their careers and lives.

     Şehit Sedat Pelit Anatolian High School was founded in 1954 as the first high school of İznik and still continues to give education to the students aged between 14-18.
    The school aims to give education at a high level and prepare the students for their university careers.
    Nearly 600 students get education and 40 teachers work for helping them to build a good career.
  • Zespół Szkolno-Przedszkolny w Siemirowicach (PL)

    The Group of Primary School and Kinderkarten in Siemirowice
    The first partner in the project Multimedia Games for Inclusion for Polish Zespół Szkół in Cewice is The Group of Primary School and Kinderkarten in Siemirowice. It is situated seven kilometres away from Cewice. There are 25 teachers working in the school and over 150 students. There are six levels of a primary school and a kinderkarten. Students attending primary school are at the age from 6 to 13. There is a computer lab in the school and the teachers tend to use the multimedia sources to support their teaching techniques. At the beggining of the Multimedia Games for Inclusion project, all the teachers were show the presentation and were informed about the aim of it. They decided to join the idea and are now using multimedia games during their lessons.
  • Szkoła Podstawowa w Maszewie Lęborskim (PL)

    The Primary School in Maszewo Lęborskie
    The second partner in the project is The Primary School in Maszewo Lęborskie, which is situated only five kilometres away from Cewice. There are almost 20 teachers and over 100 students in the school. As this is a primary school, there are six levels and the students’ age is from 6 to 13. The school is equipped with the computer lab and the teachers try to use it as much as possibile to diversify their lessons. After the presentation about Multimedia Games for Inclusion, they also decided to join the project and try to lead classes using games from time to time. The students like this way of learning and seem to be better motivated thanks to the new approach.
