Training activities (TK)

  • Training sessions for teachers.

In January 2015, we started working on our Project. Our first job was to establish a team and had a meeting with our Project team. First we started our activities in our school and we prepared a billboard and announced our Project details on our school’s web page and social media pages.

As multimedia games are improving day by day, students and teachers were very eager to participate in the Project. We chose educational games that could be used in calssrooms for revising or helping students learn better with our Project team. In Turkey, the government has started a Project and the classes are being equipped with interactive boards and students will be handed tablets. So in 5 or 10 yers time, the classes will be technological classes. Teachers need help about how to use these equipmets in an effective way. The use of games will be much more important with the increasing use of the technological devices. For that reason, our Ingaming Project has gained much more importance.

In June, we contacted 2 schools in our town and asked them to join our training. In our trainings we introduced some games to be used in the classroom and emphasised the importance of the games in the digital era. Teachers liked our applications and games that we advised during our training and asked for more information. We are still trying to help the teachers and organizing seminars to reach more teachers.

In our teacher trainings, nearly 55 teachers participated in 2 different schools and by these teachers we reached more than 900 students.
