1st meeting - Algemesi - Valência, during FebruaryAlgemesí begins the European program about the use of video games as a new tools for education and training. The "Multimedia Games for Inclusion" educational program, which is included within the Erasmus+, has been initiated in the locality of Algemesí through the IES Sant Vicent Ferrer institute, who actively participates along with schools, teachers and students from Turkey, Poland, Italy and Portugal.
Algemesí City Council received the 17 teachers of the several European countries for a meeting taking place in Algemesí. The objective of this project is to use new tools and methodologies learning, such as video games, to combat the risk of abandonment and to encourage school students with educational difficulties.
Thus, each country select certain educational games that subsequently applying this methodology of study, especially to students requiring greater incentives for learning. Through these new tools it is expected to get new routes of motivation for students and new form of learning and training using different materials, such as a comprehensive and greater understanding of languages.

El Ayuntamiento de Algemesí ha recibido esta mañana a los 17 profesores de diversos países europeos que se reúnen durante estos días en Algemesí para poner en marcha el proyecto “Multimedia Games Incluse” dentro del programa Erasmus +; un programa iniciado en la localidad a través del IES Sant Vicent Ferrer de Algemesí quien participa de manera activa en este proyecto junto con centros educativos, profesores y alumnos de Turquía, Polonia, Italia y Portugal.
