    7 And 8 September. Algemesí Streets are transformed into a living museum, scene of a cultural and religious one. Three processions fill the streets of tradition, performances, dance music. A party where there are no spectators, all are protagonists. It is a clear reflection of the strength of a people committed to its tradition and historia.Y is undoubtedly one of the most significant milestones of popular culture Valencia.

    The party was declared of tourist interest in 1977, received the title comoun of the Seven Wonders of Valencia (2008) and one of the 10 Treasures of Spain's Intangible Cultural Heritage (2009). At the same time, has been designated a Cultural Heritage by the Valencian Government (2010). Recently it has been declared by UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.     ORDER OF PROCESSION

    Preceding the procession dances appear Misteris and Martiris; short theatrical pieces, performed by group of children represent biblical passage and episodes Algemesí religious history.

    LA MUIXERANGA

    Nearly three centuries of history and a strong symbolic, have made Algemesí Muixeranga known image of the city. It is a ceremonial dance organized into two groups: the Muixeranga and Nova Miuxeranga and dolzaina and tabelet, building a series of tableaux that culminate with the known erecting towers.
